We recognise that as parent/carers you know your child the best and by us working in partnership with you is the best way to support your child holistically. Therefore we operate an open door policy.  This means that you are welcome to approach management or members of staff at any time to discuss concerns or share ideas.

We also hold regular parent workshops where you are able to come and find out more about aspects of our nursery for example the Early Years Foundation Stage, Mathematics, Speech and Language, Managing Children’s Behaviour. These are open to all parent/carers and you will be notified of when they are taking place.

We have a parent room if you would prefer to talk in private and this room is also used for meeting with your child’s key carer regularly to discuss progress.

We really value your ideas and skills and encourage any parents with ideas or talents to share them with the nursery. It may be that you have an idea for a new recipe? Or want to help us with a garden project? Maybe you play a musical instrument and want to demonstrate it to the children? Whatever your ideas we are keen for you to be involved so please feel free to discuss them with any member of staff.

Every Thursday morning from 8.45 to 10.45  parents meet at Pre-school in the Rainbow room with Mrs Tyler for a coffee and a chat as part of the Inspiring Families group.
