St Thomas More Catholic Primary School
Inspiration, Celebration and Education
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Last week our Governors and Senior Leadership Team reviewed our school Mission Statement. We felt that the wording of the final paragraph needed to be updated to reflect a more holistic approach to our whole child approach.
MISSION STATEMENT
As a Catholic school, God is at the heart of all we do. We believe that each person is made in His image, deserving to be treated with respect and dignity.
Showing respect, love and care for everyone and everything, we aim to develop harmony between pupils, parents, the school and Parish and grow as a Christian community.
We aim to embed the virtues in every child to believe in themselves to be the best that they can be and leave school as well-rounded individuals who care about themselves, others, and the world.
Just a reminder that Monday 6th November is a Staff Inset Day and school will be closed to pupils while staff receive their training. We look forward to seeing all our pupils back after half term on Tuesday 7th November.
If you would like your child to take part in the First Holy Communion programme this year, please can you register them as soon as possible at the church of St Gregory the Great's website:
https://stgregorys.org.uk/first-holy-communion-application-form/
A fantastic opportunity to gain some valuable information regarding your child's diet and how this can affect their mood and wellbeing.
Please remember to sign up on the school app for a slot to meet your child's class teacher on either Tuesday 17th October or Thursday 19th October. Thank you 🙂
