Today we had a special Coronation assembly where we learnt lots of facts about King Charles and things to look out for in the Coronation tomorrow, like the Stone of Destiny in the Coronation Throne. We are also going to make crowns to take home and there is a competition for the best drawings of King Charles, which will be displayed in a Coronation display in school.
We had such a fun time today learning all the different dances across the decades that King Charles has been alive. We learnt everything from how to jive to hip-hop and finished the day with a whole school performance of all the dances. It was brilliant to see everyone taking an active part and celebrating the achievement of every class!
Please remember that as from today, 2nd May 2023, the school gates will open for the end of the school day at 3:10 pm.
