  • Additional Controlled Covid Measures

    Fri 22 Oct 2021

    Dear Parents,

We have been contacted today by the South West Regional Authority regarding the increase in Covid rates. They have informed us that we must re-introduce additional controlled measures to reduce transmission for the first two weeks after half term.  This includes class bubbles being re-introduced and restricting the mixing of year groups.

Unfortunately, this will mean that we are unable to have any After School Clubs during the first two weeks back after half term and therefore After School Clubs will not start again until the week beginning Monday 15th November. Breakfast Club will still run during this time as we can maintain social distancing with the number of children enrolled.

We will also be unable to have any whole school assemblies or invite parents in during these two weeks. It has also been advised that face masks should be worn on the school site during this time if at all possible.

I am so sorry that we are having to return to these restrictions and bring in these precautionary measures, however we must do everything we can to prevent transmission, prevent school closure and maintain appropriate levels of education.

I wish you all a safe and happy half term break and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 1st November.

    Kind regards,

    Mrs Tippen
