Spring Term 1 Spellings

When we arrived back in our classroom, we were amazed to find 1 sparkling shoe, a magic wand and a book of Fairy Tales on the carpet. We searched through the book for a story with a shoe and a fairy and found the story of Cinderella. The children are very excited to learn and retell the story themselves and have a go at writing their own version!

Advent! We are preparing to celebrate Christmas by opening a Christmas story each day, reading the Bible verse hidden inside each day and completing a random act of kindness

We read Pete the Pirate's dairy and learned some actions to it. We will use this to help us write diaries of our trip to the moon!

We went to the moon! We got ready, climbed into the space shuttle and watched really footage from the Apollo 11 Mission to imagine we were exploring the moon for the first time. We are learning all about Neil Armstrong in History and will use our experience to write a diary.
