• Year 6 SATs Parent's Meeting - Tuesday 28th February at 3.30 pm

  Just a reminder about this important meeting for all parents and carers of Year 6 pupils on Tuesday 28th February at 3.30 pm.  Both class teachers and SLT will be there to talk you through the process of the SATs assessments, the preparation that is going on in school and the essential homework that needs to take place in the lead up to the assessments in May.

• Spring Term Report and Parent/Teacher Meetings

  Dear Parents and Carers,

  Today you will be receiving a mid-year Spring Term Report for your child.  This report contains information on their current subject attainment and assessment results, along with an update on their attendance, effort and behaviour. 

   

  This information report will form a basis for your Parent/Teacher Meeting at the end of term on:

  Wednesday 29^th March     -    3:30 pm – 6.00 pm

  Thursday 30^th March         -    3:30 pm – 6.00 pm

   

  The booking system for an appointment is through the school’s website and you will get an invitation after half term to book a date and time slot.  Each appointment will be 10 minutes long and you will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress so far this year with the class teacher.  If you have recently changed your contact telephone number, please update the school office with your new number to ensure that you receive the link to the booking system.

   

  Wishing you a very happy half-term holiday and we look forward to seeing you all again on Monday, 27^th March, when all the children will be taking part in an exciting Alice In Wonderland drama workshop to mark the start of Book Week.

• Change of Inset Date

  At school our Inset Days are for school staff to receive training for their professional development and to ensure that we provide the very best provision for your children.  Unfortunately our training date for Monday 5th June 2023 has been changed and is now Monday 3rd July 2023. 

   

  So just to confirm:

  Monday 5th June - Pupils IN School

  Monday 3rd July  - Pupils NOT IN School

   

  We always try very hard not to make any changes to term dates once they have been published, however this change is beyond our control.  Hopefully there will not be any issues, but please let me know if you have something booked for this day and it will cause you a problem.
