  We wish you all a very happy Half Term holiday.  Just a reminder that we have our whole school photograph and class photos on the first day back to school and look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th June 😃

• 👑 Jubilee Week 👑

  Today the children will be learning how to Morris Dance!  We have a specialist teacher coming in to teach every class how to do this very traditional English dance.  At the end of the day, we will finish our Jubilee week with a special Jubilee assembly which will focus on everything that we have learnt this week and we might even get a special souvenir to remind us of our Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

  Today we are celebrating with a giant Street Party.  We have fairground rides 🎠 games and activities all around the school from sack races to Tin Can Alley!! Our lunch-tables will be transformed into a real 'Street Party'.  We are really enjoying the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!  💗🤍💙

• 👑 Jubilee Week 👑

  Monday is the first day of our Jubilee celebrations.  In History today we will be looking back at the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and learning lots of important facts about the Queen and looking at the timeline of her reign.

   

  We will then be taking part in a fun Arts & DT day where we will be making Jubilee bunting for our Street Party, suncatchers, a model of the Queen, stone decorating and designing our own Jubilee stamp for a competition.  

   

  We will also be creating a whole school piece of artwork where every pupil and member of staff will be contributing to two giant Union flags which will be displayed in the School.

   

  We are looking forward to a fun-packed day and can't wait for our Street Party tomorrow!!!   💗🤍💙 

   

   

   

   

• Grammar School Admissions Talk for Year 5 Parents

  Please see the flier below for further information about a Grammar School Admissions Talk that has been organised for Year 5 families on Thursday, 12th of May, which is being hosted by Springbank Primary School.  You can sign-up to your choice of two talks running at 3.30pm and 4.30pm.  This talk has been organised to support you to make an informed decision about whether a grammar application is the right option for your child.
