Welcome to the Year 2 Class Page!

 

On this page you will find your homework, weekly spellings, information and links to our learning which will be updated as and when we move through the year. You will also find photos and descriptions of the exciting things we have been getting up to. Have a look!

 

This term we will be learning about number, partitioning and shape in Maths. In English we are focusing on writing correctly punctuated sentences through learning how to write a story based on 'The Owl who was afraid of the dark'. We will be learning all about Florence Nightingale in History focusing on the impact she has left on our lives. Our Science unit this term is 'Everyday materials'. We will be learning about recycling, properties of materials and the scientist John McAdam.
