Inspiration, Celebration and Education
Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Inspiring Families Cheltenham provide local schools with children's books which families can take home for free. These books have been donated by local residents and can support families in the following ways:
1. Reading aloud to your children develops your relationship.
2. Listening to your child read helps develop their confidence and self esteem.
3. Reading helps your children to be creative and opens up their minds.
4. It will help develop their focus and concentration as well as the understanding of language.

At our school we read lots of different poems, have the opportunity to write poems and perform them. This year we are getting involved in National Poetry day and linking it in with World Smile Day. We will therefore celebrate these days on Friday 1st October. We are going to be writing poems following the theme 'What makes us smile'. Look out on the whole school events page as we will post some recordings of our performance poetry. The links below are the webpages with some more information.
