This term Year 4 have enjoyed singing and music lessons

In DT we designed, made and tasted a delicious red pepper soup
We have been learning all about the Jesse Tree in RE. We made our own in class to remember the generations in Jesus’ family
In Science we have been learning how to make a circuit, the use of a switch, conductors and insulators.
In Science we have been completing lots of experiments to investigate how sound travels
To celebrate Black History month we learnt all about the American artist Alma Thomas
We had a super day at the Cheltenham Literature Festival hearing from Kieran Larwood and Joe Todd Stanton
Crazy hair day as an incentive for super attendance
For recycling week we made pledges that we will try and keep to make our Earth a better place.
In English we were learning all about how to produce and deliver a News Flash!
We celebrated the 50th birthday of our school with party games and bouncing fun!
In our theme lessons we have had a History focus and have been learning all about timelines.
For Art week we practised colour mixing to create shades of a colour and used pencil to draw our own portraits
We started maths for the year with lots of number skills!
