This term we have been learning about The Great Fire of London. We have created our own zigzag books to sequence the events and created artwork depicting the great fire. We acted out different ways to stop the fire spreading.

We used drawing and typing tools on the tablets to create our own pictures with facts.

How did Christopher Columbus navigate his journey?

We have learnt that Columbus would’ve used a compass to direct his ships. He would’ve also used an astrolabe to navigate using the stars. We used compasses to follow directions and created our own star map.

PE

We created our own obstacle courses. We had to use teamwork to be successful.

History - sequencing things that have happened in the past.

We have learnt that the past means something that has already happened. We learnt sequencing means putting things in order. We sequenced events from the past, including events from our own lives.
