European Languages Day 2017
Tuesday 26th September was European Languages Day. It was a time to celebrate the 6000+ languages spoken around the world, promote language learning and have some multilingual fun! Every class learnt a new language. They learnt key phrases, colours, numbers, animals, foods and lots more in their chosen languages.
“I thought today was fun! I really enjoyed colouring in Elmer!” said Jack in Year 1.
“I liked making the Polish number cards. I liked to learn Polish and some people in our class are Polish. It was nice to see them interact in their own language.” said Ellie in Year 6.
